Anko has worked backstage at Tons of Rock and Karpe World. We know how festival days run — early load-in, shifting schedules, artists and crew with thirty free minutes between soundcheck and set.

Our own launch nights at Dalsbergstien had a DJ, Red Bull and Domino's on site and a queue into the street, in the rain. We build activations people choose to be part of — and the content that follows is authentic, because guests share it themselves.

How big is your event? A quick scope check
A small flash tattoo usually takes 30–60 minutes including stencil and wrap. That sets how many guests each artist can realistically tattoo — use this to sense-check your plans before you enquire.

Rule of thumb: demand at events almost always outstrips capacity. Timed slots or a pre-registration list keeps queues short and makes sure your VIPs get their turn. Piercings are faster — typically several per hour per piercer.
Three ways to pay for it
Every event is quoted from artist time — like our studio pricing — plus anything specific to your setup: custom flash, travel outside Oslo, equipment and exclusivity.
Host-covered
You pay for artist time and the menu; guests choose a design free of charge.
Guest-paid
Guests pay for their own tattoos and piercings; you provide the space and audience.
Hybrid
You cover a set number of tattoos or a credit per guest; extras are guest-paid.

Find your answers fast
Do you travel outside Oslo?
Yes. We work at festivals, venues and private events across Norway and can discuss events abroad. Travel and accommodation for the team are added to your quote, or you can arrange them directly.
How far ahead should we book?
As a guide: 2–4 weeks for small private events, 4–8 weeks for brand activations and corporate events, and 10–16 weeks for festivals. Custom branded flash needs extra design and approval time, so earlier is always better — especially for summer weekends.
Is tattooing at an event really hygienic?
It is when it's done properly. We use the same single-use needles, sterile equipment, barrier protection and clean-down routine as in the studio, and we coordinate any approval the local municipality requires for tattooing outside our premises. If a space isn't suitable, we'll tell you — and suggest what would make it work.
Can guests under 18 take part?
Not for tattoos — they are strictly 18+ with valid photo ID, even with parental consent. Piercing follows our studio age limits (for example earlobes from 6 with a parent, most ear, nose and navel piercings from 15 with a parent), with ID required from both the guest and the guardian.
Can guests drink at the event?
Of course — but we won't tattoo or pierce anyone who is under the influence. It thins the blood, affects healing and consent. The simplest fix is to run the tattoo station early, before the bar gets busy, or to use pre-booked slots.
Can you design flash around our brand?
Yes. We create a custom flash sheet inspired by your brand, product or campaign, and you approve it before the event. The best-performing designs are ones guests would genuinely want to wear, so we'll steer towards subtle and artistic over a straight logo.
Who pays — us or the guests?
Can we film and photograph the tattooing?
Yes, with each guest's consent. We're used to working on camera, and we can plan content moments into the setup — or bring our own content to share across our channels where it suits the partnership.
How does the referral partnership work?
Once approved, you receive a personal code. Your guests get 15% off their tattoo or piercing, and you earn 10% commission on the final bill, paid monthly by bank transfer or Vipps once you reach 500 kr. There's no cap on earnings. You can also apply directly via our affiliate page.
What happens if our event is postponed or cancelled?
Let us know as early as possible. Rescheduling and cancellation terms for events are set out clearly in your proposal before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
